Always fun to confuse people with the sound of the bike. I get a lot of weird looks from that. |

I had one of my better "in traffic" stories on Saturday headed North on 1/9. It would be in poor taste to post what I did hear, but when a group of 15 young gents on what sounded like screaming bees surrounded me at the light at started reving their engines...well, I got scared. I knew that a straight away race, when the light turned green, wasn't the forte' of the CityX, so I went with my strengths. The Cheetah boys and girls is much faster than the lumbering skunk. The skunk, however, is not without his defenses. When the Buell raises it's tail . . . I love these silly machines! |

I have a warped sense of humour. I have 250cc stickers on both sides of the belly pan. They look factory and many a person has stood there scratching their head looking at it. |

If these bikes really were 250s those cylinders would be awfully large...and the redline would be above 10000 since that is definitaly an oversquare motor! But alas that is not why I bought my bike..I bought it because of the handling. When I added a few mods and the Drummer the improved performance was truly a pleasant surprise and gives me the best of both worlds. |

I rode up to liberty state park with my brother and my bro in law, both ride zx6r's. on the way home i switched with my bro in law and I could not believe how hard it was to ride the zx6r compared to the XB. I had a zx6r and I was a little shaky on it. Unreal. The XB's really handle amazing. |

Nice Carlos...what did your bro-n-law think of your Buell? What type of decal do you have behind the frame pucks? They look textured. I need to cover up a scratch my nephew stuck on my frame and that would work perfect. |

Brian, those are frame grip skins I think thats what they are called. , they work really good, jeans just stick to them, comes in handy when leaning hard into turns. before I put them on my legs would slip when I squeezed them against the frame, plus they look like they would protect the frame as well. Am I allowed to post the link where I bought them from? My bro in law liked the handling but not the looks. oh well (Message edited by Got1nut on April 11, 2005) |
