Well, I had a bit of an overflow the other day and now had a nice big gas stain on the side of my frame. Was wondering if anyone knows of a way or chemical to remove it?

I used to take the gas stains off of the engine cases of my 48 Indian with 3M brand citrus-based industrial cleaner. Sold in a large spray can. It is not too harsh and rinses off with water. Available in places like Graingers and McMaster-Carr, & other industrial-specific type hardware suppliers. Simple Green might work too. "Test in a hidden area to ensure color doesn't fade or run." AL

Gas stain on the frame? I've actually used gas to remove tar/crud off the frame. It didn't stain at all.

It's never stained my frame before DC. For some reason this stuff did. Got it at a 7-11. Must've been old crap.

Thanks guys. I'll give Simple Green a run tomorrow.
