Pitbulls are great for minor stuff but you can't really do serious yanking (no... on the BIKE) - without them getting kinda tippy. There are some ramp and table type things that work pretty good and get the bike up high enough to work on it from a chair. A single bike trailer almost works as well. | ||

Euro, Each stand has it's own advantages. One of the drawbacks with the pitbulls is rear swingarm/suspension work. One of the drawbacks with the center jack is muffler work. It's really whatever you'd use the most. Personally I find a motorcycle/atv lift to work perfectly for 90% of my maintenance. It's that other 10% that gets me. | ||

Which Pitbull model is recommended? I really only need it for bike storage and cleaning.Sometime this year I want to purchase a professional lift (flat bed and wheel clamp). I was worried about the angle of the swing arm as that there would not be enough contact patch to secure it from sliding off....John | ||
