Any tips for removing those God-awful 'warning' stickers from the frame ? And what's best for removing 'polishing' swirls from the 12R amber screen ? TIA | ||

I used a little bit of brake cleaner on a rag and peeled up a corner with a razor blade, very carefully so as not to scratch the aluminum and a little brake cleaner to get the remainder of the "goo". Be careful with the brake cleaner though. It will remove all the letters and numbers from the VIN sticker, leaving you with a clear sticker...Whoops. | ||

Take a blow dryer to the stickers. Heat them up, they'll peel right off. A regular heat gun isn't needed. Worked great on mine. | ||

I used a little gasoline, came right off. Just dont smoke for a little while | ||

Lighter fluid. I use it all the time. It's the same thing as goo gone only cheaper. | ||

Blow dryer is the safest method IMO. Just make everything nice and warm, then peel it off. Took the stickers off the bodywork nicely--but I dunno about removing the frame stickers. Are there any legalities involved? |
