Lsl superbike R to S conversion question
Experience wanted !

After 3 months on my beemer the clipons on my little r makes it very hard for me to make a nice and fast corner,
So the decision is made the S setup ( or superbike ) is going on my bike, how ever I dislike the looks, I think the handling and fun makes up for it
But after test fitting with an old S triple T ( thanks again wycked )
I have a few questions to people who have done it, I,m not going to use the S triple tee
Because I loose the steering lock function, so I’m going to use the LsL setup,
The only thing is are all the cables long enough ? did you have to reroute theme and how
I know I will need a longer brake line , but that’s included in the kit
But I’m pondering that the clutch cable and throttle cables are to short to let theme route nice

Thanks for the input

Can't help you with your question but can I asume that your bike back together and running? That would be cool.

If you want some help, company or just someone to drink your beer, give me a heads up and I'll come and bug ya to make sure it takes at least twice as long as it would have taken you without me!

yep bike is in one peace again : )
a new freshly rebuild engine,
and still 600km left for running in,
can't wait to give the horsies a good lashing
thing is i'm so used to the outhouse riding position from my beemer, i can't get the buell around the corner any more like i'm used to do
i know it's all between the ears, but it feels so strangs and scary for now.
and i notised that my overview in traffic on the buell is realy bad becouse off the bent over riding position, it never bothered me before, but after a close call thise weekend i like to tray it more sitting up right, i think it's more fun as well

ps. thanks for the offer..

I installed this, the cables were all long enough with some rerouting required.
I also moved one clutch cable bracket.
The trickiest part was to keep the master cylinder from hitting the fairing, both the bars and the cylinder have to be in just the right position.

Cables are all definitely long enough and the kit comes with a new longer front brake hose. Make sure you install the risers the right way round (i.e. offset to the rear) otherwise you'll find the bars will hit the fairing. LSL bars also come in a variety of bends and rises so make sure you go for the standard 'Superbike' bend.

man, i can't wait to give it full trottle and let those 126 Nm loose on the road

btw. are you going to zandfoort as well ?
still have to think off a way to silence the mufler and not loose to much power
