i know of a few of you that are attending the show on the 17th. It seems sunday works for more people so here it goes: I will meet Adrian(buelluk) at the mobil off exit 18 of the new york state thruway. We are then heading south(not sure on which road) Anyone else who wants to ride with us please let us know very soon. We haven't arranged a time yet. I would like to go to libery h-d in rahway and meet up with some other riders. Yes we will have to ride on 87 and the garden state(sounds fun huh?) I need to know if any of the jersey boys are meeting sunday and then going to the show. If not we will just head towards manhattan. People please e-mail me so we can finalize plans. I've been in contact with a few of you already so hopefully we'll figure it out. Roberto let me know where u want to meet up....i don't mind taking 87 into the city but the potholes may be interesting. Maybe we can take alternative route. Anyway everyone please post something here or drop me a line and let me know whats going on. Thanks

Bob

Let me know the town, exit number or place and when and I will be there. Nyack could be good, Tarrytown could be good, Armonk for 684 or Chappaqua for Saw Mill. If I have to go farther to meet you guys is OK too. I don't know that much the other towns but I can figure something out.

Bob, I have had a look at the map and I think we can meet at New Paltz, ride down to Woodbury and go across and down past Bear Mountain and pick up Roberto ( Arve ) there, Nyack / Palisades Mall and then go on to the GSP ???

That would be a nicer ride than going all the way down 87 to the GSP.

Have you thought about meeting the guys from Liberty closer to Manhattan, as we will have to ride almost all the way down towards Ekizabeth and then go back to the City.

adrian we don't have to go to liberty...i was going to go meet up with them if there was a good number of people...we can always meet up with the jersey people at the show and take a ride around the city before we go home....I don't want to do tarrytown because the tappan zee sucks. Maybe we can meet roberto at the mall in nyack...in front of the entrance by bjs. I say we avoid 87 too. I know it is going to suck due to the amount of potholes.I'll check a map too and find a "fun "way into the city. So what do u say 9 am sun?? at exit 18?? let me know

I'm planning on going, but I'm leaving from over here in Hunterdon County. Liberty is a little out of the way since I can shoot down 78 to get there ( and I'm not real crazy about Liberty, had a bad experience there with a Harley I bought) but if it's to meet up with fellow buell riders, I'll Put my differences with the dealer behind me and go.

coming down from CT, Rahway is out of the way...but considering the number of people going, Ithink it will be good to go there just to meet a bunch of cool BadWebbers!

see you at 9am on Sunday!!

I think i can do the palisades...no problem .I actually think the tappan zee is better than the George Washington but it is OK with me whatever route into the city.

>>>coming down from CT, Rahway is out of the way

There is however, and to our mutual benefit, great opporutnity abounding here.

The Buell faithful at Rahway have owner principles who are interested in getting "really agressive" about supporting Buells.

We've all decided to get together that day anyway.

It's very important, even if you live in CT, PA or anywhere around, that we make an impressive showing to underscore that there are Buells and a Buell market within the area of NYC.

None of you guys may buy bikes from Liberty, but I have a strong interest in them stocking parts and investing in training someone.

Please, if your schedule permits, make the trip. Let's toss the gauntlet and give this dealer some motivation to perform.

The next HUGE hurdle in the triad is the "service excellence". I want to see if we do our part, if we can get the dealer to to his.

Think of the first part of the day as "business" (laced with powder donuts) and the 2nd part as "pleasure".

Hey...it's a motorcycle? What's an extra 30 miles? As a person who'd ridden 850 miles to lunch and then back, I'll come get you if I have to.

: )

OK ,you've convinced me about Liberty, I 'll have to get a loan from the bank to buy an extra couple of gallons of gas...for the more serious people on the board that was English sarcasm .

Arve , Yeags ...let's get together at the Palisades mall ..Bob, let me know if you mean 9.00 am at Nyack or at New Paltz

It should take u about 40 mins to get from palisades mall to exit 12 on the NJ turnpike. Thats 40 mins by car driving the speed limit with my 2 year old and my wife so on ur bikes who knows maybe 30 mins?

I havn't been with a bunch of Buellers since i don't know when.

I'll be heading down there as well.

On a side note, and not to take away Liberty's thunder, but a good friend of mine (Anthony Calgari) is now back as Sales manager at Edison HD Buell.

He's currently road racing a XB12, and is looking to ramp up the Buell prescence once again at Edison, like the good ol' days when i bought my bike waaay back in 98.

Lets make it 8.15, I already have too close a relationship with NYS police , we can then go straight down 87 to the Palisades.

Give me a call next week to finalize things - my cell is 203 767 2944

I'm in. I can also help get the place ready for the crowd (coffee, donuts, etc.) as I'm one of the managers there. A definite head count and solid ETA would help out immensely.

Odin:

I'll be there. In addition, MikeyP is coming so I can give him a riding lesson.

You are the hosts. Let us know what time you want us there.

I have a little trick to ensure folks arrive on time.

Let us know what that time is and I'll provide "incentive" for folks to arrive within 15 minutes of the window.

This is going to be fun.

Court,

I'll have everything up & running for guests by 9:00 AM. The store doesn't open until 10:00 AM on Sundays, but I'll have coffee & donuts for everyone. If enough people want to show up earlier than 9:00, let me know, I'm flexible.
We're trying to get some positive momentum for this event, and show that there are Buell riders out there that we can accommodate for parts, clothing, service & sales. Even getting together an order for some core merchandise (I know, we don't have much and it's hard to find) to keep in stock. Hopefully it will be here in time for the event, but it may not be here until afterward. A good turn out on the 17th will be a great punctuation at the end of this proposal. Let me know if you guys need anything in particular (within reason, of course), and I'll do my best to get it done.

Chris

Arvebuell - sounds good...tho I'd like to be sure to be in Rahway for 9 am at the latest...if Court is dangling an "incentive" out there...I'm thinking it will be a good idea to be on time...

I'll do some thinking/planning for routes/times
