Author Message   Cataract2 Posted on Saturday, March 26, 2005 - 09:55 pm:        Well, today I noticed the Lighting logo on the fly screen was starting to peel. So, I went and got some super glue. While putting it on some of the glue ran. Well, now a have an small area just under the logo that's a small hazy white. I've buffed it with just about anything I can think of and only gotta bit of it off. Anyone know of anything that will take this crap off? Acetone would be the next logical choice but you have to soak and again, don't know what that would do to the fly screen.   Reepicheep Posted on Sunday, March 27, 2005 - 07:48 am:        Novus 3 will go a long way if you have the patience. You will have to get the superglue off first, maybe with something like 1600 grit sandpaper, then novus 3 then novus 2 then the harley glaze. If the flyscreen is expensive, I have a "donor airbox" that I can experiment with to see if you can do the really high grit paper and recover it with novus.   Cataract2 Posted on Sunday, March 27, 2005 - 09:00 am:        I'll give that a run. Hobby shops selling model airplanes usually have solvent for cleaning dried superglue   Rigga Posted on Sunday, March 27, 2005 - 10:15 am:        get yourself a very sharp flat blade,like a hobby/craft knife and gently use the sharp edge to remove the glue.... i had the same thing happen when i spilt some on my carbon hugger,lifted it right off,polished afterwards and now never knew it was there
