Can anyone find the paint code to match the amber wheel colour (yes, I'm Canadian, there is a U in color) in any paint system?

Thanks for the help

Daves might know. I would try to have a paint store match it. A good paint store has some kind of scanning tool to scan colors and match them. Good luck brupska

I think that might be tough, as I think it's actually more of a tinted clear versus a regular paint.

Erik spoke of how hard of a time they had producing the color without variations in color from time to time. They finally got it down pat with the vendor that does them for Buell.Good luck.I'd say the best thing to do is see if a Custom painter in your area could give a crack at matching it for ya.

Yeah, there are Pantone color readers that will give you the Pantone color for anything you put it on. I'm sure you could have the paint mixed from a Pantone color. Pretty cool device. Check it out.

My best friend works at an autobody supply store, he mixes paint all day.

the problem with the camera they have is that it needs to sit flat on a 6" x 4" surface to scan the colour... I was going to flatten my wheels out

The best I found is an Acura colour and we're going to try to tweek it

If you could get your hands on one of those Pantone readers, you could find the color and buy the ink. Then you could make whatever size you need. Not a practical route, but doable.
