As some of you know, I am a tech at Liberty HD/Buell in Rahway, NJ. Rahway is centrally located in NJ not far from the Woodbridge, New Brunswick areas. I had a meeting with the owner of the dealership today and we(the dealership) are ready to become the premier Buell dealership in the area. As was said in the meeting, we want to cater to the Buell customers. So here is what I want from you guys, either contact me, Phil, at philjay08221974@aol.com or contact the owner of the dealership at michelle@libertyharley.com and let us know exactly what you want. Also, as far as the the ride to the intrepid bike show on April 16-17 I would love to have as many guys as possible meet at the dealership to show them that there really are that many of us out there. Everyone wants a great dealership to go to so let's make this happen.

Phil; that's great news. Thanks for stepping up for us.

I would suggest asking Court for his list of parts that ought to be in stock at all times; just little tip-over and general service items.

Also, make sure everyone who will be dealing with Buell owners and their bikes become thoroughly familiar with the bikes and their peculiarities such as suspension set-up, belt tension (for the tubers), recalls and service bulletins etc.

Start keeping a list (search through the archives here for a start) of particular issues that crop up with these bikes, so you have a place to start with trouble shooting.

Require that all persons dealing with Buells at least have taken a ride on one, so they have some perspective.

Well, that's a start.

Gents we have a unique alignment of the planets here.

Phil's dealer principle wants to "encourage" Buells.
There is a motorcycle show within spittin' range of Phil's.
Phil needs to "look good", like he knows what of he speaks, to his boss.
Spring weather ('sposed to be 52^o F tomorrow) is on the way.
Most of you have never been lucky enough to meet Henrik, one of the FEW non-ugly Buell riders.

Anyone else up for coffee and donuts at Phil's the morning of the 17th?

Phil, you open the 17th? If so, what time?

Yes, we will be open on the 17th, as we are every Sunday from 10am to 3pm but it can be arranged to be there earlier to accommodate us on the 17th if we need to.
