Well ,after waiting 4 months since I bought my new `04 XB9S,I finally got to ride it this weekend. And the wait was worth it.After 25 years of dirtbiking it was a bit hard not to ride it like one ,but once I relaxed and let it do it thing,it was great! It was a little rough at first but started to smooth out after a while .I`m sure it`ll get better after break in.
I`v been lurking around the website for a while now and all I could do was read about the bike ,but it was nice to finally get to experience what you guy`s have been talking about.
I bought my bike at Trev Deeley Harley Davidson in Vancouver,B.C.,Canada ,and it was a very good overall experience.I got a good deal and they really seem to care.I almost bought one at one of those other dealers and now they only have one `04 bike in stock. Trev deely is a 4 hour drive for me but after the way they treated me ,I would drive 6,or 8 or ,,,well you get the picture.
I really like this website and hope to go riding with you all someday. If you`re ever up here in twisty British Columbia ,give me a call.

Gord

Great to hear someone had a good dealer experience! They seem to be few and far between. Enjoy the bike man!

Hiya, Gord!

Hey, we're almost neighbours--I'm out in the Kootenays. Just got my XB9R home, but I kinda wished I'd dealt with Deeley in Vancouver--buying from Kamloops H-D has not been a totally satisfying experience.

Haven't got a license on the bike yet, but soon...I really wanna ride this thing!

Who do you know in your neighborhood?

Can you say Slocan Valley?

I knew you could!

Looks like lunch or dinner at The Mushroom Addiction in Needles or that mexican restaurant in Roseberry is in order lads.

Bake, I'm in...maybe a few weeks yet, though, for Highway 6 to dry out and come clean (I drove it yesterday, still a few shadowy corners that are still damp by late afternoon...).

We may have few Buell dealers here, but we got the real Buell roads!

Ahhhh, Bake...the Mexican restaurant in Roseberry...I dream about that place all winter!
Can't wait for summer holidays to scoot on out there and eat like a pig! Never eaten at the Mushroom...too busy hopping on the ferry for the run up to the Goldpanner east of Cherryville! God, I envy you guys living out there...Alberta roads suck! Any jobs left in BC?????

i agree Trev Deeley was really a good customer service experience for me last year. The sales guys spent about 3hours over a couple of visits answering questions etc. and were quick to offer a demo.
Unfortunately they couldnt compete with Barnes sale price at the time so I bought my 9S there.
-2 services at T.Deeley have been good experiences.
