I actually striped the bike first. Then I saw the helmet in one of the bike mags and added the logos. It is almost a perfect match.badwpic

Did you do it with vinyl? If so, how hard was the front fender to do? I've been thinking of doing dual white stripes on my XB9R.

I did mine Back in January, with vinyl... Ask for the best quality stuff, it lasts better in the sun, crutial if your bike is black.

And do something besides orange...

I have to ask this. Where does one find wide vinyl tape? I have been to a few auto parts stores, it seems the widest is about 1/2 inch!

I purchased 2 yards from a 15" wide roll and cut my own strips. Purchased from www.ameriban.com and it was about $14.00 a yard.

Or you could go to www.tapeworks.com I had them do my stuff. I just told them what I wanted and they hooked me up. Nice stuff. Very easy to put on. Just another alternative to throw out there. I highly recommend them.

Yes the stripes are vinyl.Had them made up buy a local guy. The fender isn't hard to do with a little heat from a hair dryer. Proud of the Harley heritage, so orange and white just seems right on the black. The seat cowl is something I would really like to have, but can't justify the cost. Thanks for your input I think it came out pretty nice. I have the plastic's in yellow and may try something totally different with that(like leave them alone).
