I have an 03 XB9R. Was wondering what spare parts you recommend keeping on hand for that unexpected broken part(s) |

I've seen several folks recommend a spare belt. I would probably recommend oil, brake fluid, depending on where you live and how often you get to ride it, a trickle charger/battery tender. I've also got several bolts/nylon washers in case some of them shake loose. |

Clutch Cable, Belt, Idler Assembly, oil filter, oil, primary inspection gasket, primary oil gasket (not sure of the name on that one but there are two of them), o-rings for oil drain plugs, nylon washers, spark plugs, plug wires (in case one rubbed through), headlight bulbs, taillight bulbs, turn signal bulbs, K&N Cleaner/Oil. On a longer trip: Oil, Buell Toolkit, Clutch Cable, 1 headlight bulb, 1 taillight bulb, a couple turn signal bulbs, paper towels/glass cleaner. If you don't have many tools, the Buell Tool Kit on their web page is a good start and then you can add as you go along. |
