Hi,

This is my first post here - just got a new Buell, traded in my V Rod.

It's too cold to ride, but I got all the reflectors off, swapped the "rabbit ears" for bar-end mirrors and polished it about 6 times since Saturday !!!

Looking forward to spring.

I'm betting those Cat Eye mirrors are the cheapest accessory you have EVER bought for a motorcycle! : )

www.rei.com. Or you can get them at most bicycle shops for around 12 dollars.

I love my 3rd Eye mirrors. I can also relate to your dilemma with the wife.

How 'bout two more cheap/free mods - I see you took your rear pegs off, that's one - looks so much better. Now, chop off that pasta strainer! The only cost is paint, and I suggest Buell OEM XB gray frame paint.

Congrats, and welcome!

"keep laughing about how cheap your first mods were.... because now you have started you will find it hard to stop"

For now, I'll be spending the $$$ I got from selling all the chrome and etc I took off my V Rod before trading.

But I know that won't last for long !!!

Still too cold (30) but I'm ready to ride the hour it "warms" to 40 or so.

Thanks to all,

EE
