I just got new tires this morning, and my front brake is making a weird thump or clunk. Everything looks fine and lined up correctly. I actually watch them take it apart and re-assemble it, and help bleed it. It brakes normally when ridden and you can't feel the thump. When I went to push the bike into my garage I noticed it. Any idea what I should be looking for? I cruised through the "knowledge vault" and didn't see anything. Maybe you guys can help?

I would say check your steering head to make sure it is tight enough. I don't have my service manual here to tell you how to do it. I had the same thing happen after my 1000 mile service on my 9S. I rode it that way until my 2500 mile service. Not to good on the bearings and their races. I would let the dealer know about it as soon as you can. My dealer blamed it on me for riding to hard. LOL Now I know better. Brupska

Thanks for the heads up Brupska. I didn't make any noise before the front tire was changed, so what ever it is has to do with the front tire assembly. I'm leaning toward the front break. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this or new what might be causing it.

I pretty sure its tight. I watch the guys take it apart and put it back together. I'm pretty sure its tight. What are the torque settings for the those bolts.
