Give me your opinions.

Thanks

I love my Streetfighter.
Snug riding position feels like it was engineered by Erik Buell himself

My brother has the streetfighter and I have the gunfighter. Both are great seats, but I think the corbin is better. The corbin seems harder at first but once you break it in it is way more comfortable seat then the streetfighter. The streetfighter is a lot better then stock, if you are worried about the price difference, any long trips you plan to take will more then make up for it. If you only plan to ride around town then I would say get the streetfighter. From my experience on both the corbin is a far superior seat on long distance rides when compared to the streetfighter, both are great for just riding around town.

I have had both seats. In my opinion, once the Corbin breaks in it is a much better seat. One thing I did notice is that the Corbin seat fits much better and the streetfighter had some play in it where the seat would move under excelaration and breaking. That bugged the hell out of me.

The Corbin I have makes me feel like I'm part of the bike.

Today was the first day I rode with the Corbin on my Lightning. I like the way it held me in place, which I think also helped me in the corners too. We all want to see the best in what we buy, but I think I am going to be very happy with the new Corbin seat. I look forward to getting in a really long ride. The stock seat made my butt numb/hurt in a short time.

I need a new seat and im debating both seats. I hate the stock seat, after riding for 4 hours on sunday, I have been suffering from a pinched siatic nerve on my left butt cheek. It sucks bead I can barely walk. It seems that everyone is 50/50 on the seats. I don't like the idea of paying $220 bucks for a seat that sometimes doesn't fit right and requires me to shave off the rubber. But I also do like the idea of a seat that shifts a few inches under braking and acceleration. Is there anyway to add padding to the stock seat? Or do they sell butt pads anywhere?

"But I also do like the idea of a seat that shifts a few inches under braking and acceleration."

Did you mean, "...I also DON'Tlike..."? If that's what you meant to say, and you were referring to a Streetfighter, where did you hear that? After installing my SF seat, I noticed the fitment was much "tighter" with less play, and in fact, I thought it wasn't going to latch. When I R/R the seat, I have to turn the key to "lock" and push down hard on the very back 'til I hear it "click" into place. It doesn't move at all!
