My first book, The Biker’s Bible – Fun and Survival on Road-going Motorcycles - published in paper form in 2002, is now out of print. This new book is much more than a revamp of the original and contains a further six years of motorcycling and writing experience, experimentation, and just sometimes, pain and suffering! Please take a look at it on www.bookhabit.com where the first part can be downloaded free.

The title is Come Motorcycling with Me – How to Stay Safe while Having Fun. The direct link to it is http://www.bookhabit.com/competition/book_details. php?book_id=66#

While it’s aimed primarily at new riders and anyone returning to motorcycling after a lapse, I like to think that there is something in the book for everyone, even if it’s just to bring to the fore what you may already know but have not thought about for ages. A refresher course if you like. And to download it as a 1.7MB PDF file will cost you less than a cup of coffee!

Oh, yes. And if you do take a look, or better still, buy the book, please vote where invited to on the website. It just might help me win a prize on offer.

For Lori Hunt : )

http://www.huntslodge.com/

Moto Campsite Opens near Deals Gap and Cherohala Skyway in Tennesee.

Hello,

I would like to tell you about the motorcycle campground that my
husband and I just opened for business this past May in the hopes that
this is something that you feel the Bad Weather Bikers might be
interested in. If it is, would you mind passing the info on to them?

We are Hunt's Lodge Motorcycle Campground, located in Tellico Plains,
TN. We are a little over a mile away from the Cherohala Skyway and
maybe 45 minutes to an hour from Deal's Gap. All manner of
motorcycles, trikes, scooters, and motorcycle enthusiasts are welcome
at our place. We've both done a fair bit of motorcycle touring and
put a lot of thought about our own experiences into the layout and
design of our facilities. My husband is a life-long resident of
Tellico Plains and he can tell you about roads that most people don't
know exist that are simply a joy to ride.

We offer tent sites and sleeping cabins designed with the motorcycle
traveler in mind. All of our guests will find a clean shower house, a
well-lit pavilion, a large group fire-ring, a public laundry, and
hosts who enjoy hearing about their day's rides. For guests who
simply must stay connected, we also provide a free wireless internet
hotspot over most of the campground. Guests staying in the cabins
will also find a/ac, comfortable beds, all of their towels and bed
linens provided, plenty of places to hang their gear, and boot & glove
dryers.

Things to look for in the future at the campground will be a covered,
lit work bay with a concrete floor, covered parking adjacent to the
sleeping cabins, and smaller campsite fire-rings.

If you would like more information or to see some pictures of the
place, you can visit our website at http://www.huntslodge.com. I can
answer any specific questions you have if you'll just email them to me
at lori@huntslodge.com.

Thank you for taking the time to consider what we have to offer your
group. If you feel this is something they would be interested in, we
would really appreciate it if you would pass the info on to them.

Take care and ride safe,

Lori Hunt

Hi fellow Buelligans, my name is Howard. I have recently become employed at Grand Rapids Harley Davidson/Buell in Michigan. I want to get the word out that we need support from all Buell riders in the area. I was told that if we don't move enough bikes or parts for Buells,we would consider dropping them. I for 1 do not want to see this happen. So call the dealership or drop in and tell them you want them to be a good dealership for Buells. Let them know what you need or expect and then support them. I would like to see this become the best Buell dealership in Michigan but I need your support. Thanx, Howard -owner 92 RSS
