Jim, Not just the post above. In other venues, some of the derision and antagonism aimed at Buell, Buell motorcycles, and/or Buell-enthusiasts is no less negative and rarely elicites admonition such as yours. Why is that? I disagree with your interpretation that the busman's comments are vindictive; in my view they simply reflect his opinion of some who have taken up campaigns of derision against Buell/Buells/Buell enthusiasts, an opinion that surely you can agree is not without justification. That's all. | ||

Political arguments in my opinion have some salt because they directly effect people on a daily basis. To argue about motorcycles and where to exchange views and opinions, is just stupid. I post regularly here and on Sacborg with no problem. (Thanks Blake, Chop and Vik) It's kind of like having company over and having your guest's getting unruly and out of hand. Not very high goals to hack petty motorcycle sites. Jeez,"The Borg" has about as much activity as ATC........which averages 20 to 70 "lookers" a day and maybe 10 posters (as near as I can tell). Hack eBay or Yahoo.....now there's something that would stir up the natives. | ||

It was no doubt a target of opportunity. Somebody finds a particular vulnerability, and scans everywhere to try and find it. When they find it, they exploit it. It could be CNN, it could be some 12 year olds blog that has never been read by anyone except his Grandma, and even she wasn't really paying attention. | ||

Now do you understand why I told 'Buss he should be careful what he wished for? And I think you're right with saying bedwetter basher, at least in my case. I've never stopped liking Buells, but I have little patience for a person that thinks because he's now riding a bike with a 52" wheelbase and a 21° steering head angle he's now magically two seconds a lap faster than he was before.
