Author Message   Coastrambler Posted on Thursday, October 25, 2018 - 01:25 am:        Every now and then, like when I start up cold and run 2-3 minutes, shut down and restart in 2-3 minutes I get CEL & Low Fuel indicators. Bike runs fine. In abt a 1/4 mile they go away. Any clue as to what's going on? You'll need some huge snap ring pilers. I bought cheapo's from ebay since they'll likely see little use beyond this. I work on truck mounted and offshore cranes. The fuel pump from this bike is the hardest one to remove I've ever had to.   S21125r Posted on Monday, February 11, 2019 - 04:22 pm:        Don't quote me on this as its been a few years... Early 2008s had a quirk with Low Fuel and Check engine light that was related to old firmware on the instrument cluster. You'd have to use the search function but I think Zac had a good write up at one time on failure modes that would point you to either the cluster firmware, or bad thermistor.
