Gents,

I've searched the archives first, not a newb in that regard. Just need a varsity level assist on this one.

I have an '08 1125R that I bought a "newer" '09 IC to fix battery drain issue and get the indicator/battery voltage display. This replacement is the YO500.2AMA Rev A which works FINE. Except that is holds the mileage of the previous bike (45,000 miles). I would prefer to have the IC display the actual bike's mileage so I bought a brand new IC -- Same model Y0500.2AMA Rev A. same SW 6.2 just a manufactured date of 2013 vice the 2011 version that shows 45,000 miles.

Upon install and even after the 30 minute synch my front and rear -- right side only -- signals are getting full 12.2V juice from the battery through the IC, even after bike is switched off. That is correct the right side turn signals are fully lit with the bike turned off. I disconnected indicator selector module from the handlebars--still on--disconnect IC and plug in old IC -- problem gone. IT'S in the damn module.

I am aware of the LED/Incandescent 2010 model change with the current load signaling being different, but just the right side, and only on this new Cluster has me scratching my head.

Thanks for reading
Dan

Do you have a schematic for the 2008?...is there a difference in the wiring (schematic) of the 2008 and the 2010?...the wiring on this bike is one of many weak links...I would trace back the wiring from the IC connector to the voltage source...does the 2010 IC need a 2010 ECM?...sounds like your new IC is bad...possibly at the connector?...you may have to "ohm out" ( check for continuity/short) on the old and new IC connector (take notes/build a "chart")and compare your findings point to point...not an easy job....sorry to hear about your troubles especially with a "new" part.
