She'll run hard for and never have an issue. 100 kph + for hours. try to ride it in traffic and it stalls. Code P0087 low pressure. I've watched it in Diag. Mode and it will register 40psi(kpa?), if I cycle the key a few times and the pressure jumps back up to operating. Any ideas?

Leaky injector(s)

Does it have a Schrader valve on the fuel rail? Slow leak?

Do you smell any gas while stuck in traffic? Could be the heat boil and overflow out the left rear side, clear tubing is where it runs out.
