I am going to pick up a fork seal driver. Ebay has them in brass(or looks like brass) or plastic. Has anyone used either? Any advice they are roughly the same price so thinking the brass is the way to go? Thanks

You can make one out of PVC. Someone here did it.

Otherwise, IIRC, RaceTech (fork rebuilders) sells the tools needed.

I used pvc. I had a gold wing once and use some copper water pipe to get the right I.d. On it.

Just get some calipers and start measuring stuff. Theres more then one way to skin a cat.

Motion Pro Ringer is great

however, just installed some new seals on a Hayabusa and they didn't require a driver at all - hand install

I used a PVC tee of the nearest dimension and used a file to fine tune the diameter.

I just did fork seals this weekend and used All Balls seals and they are fantastic. I'll never use anything else.

+1 on All Balls seals. I've got a set in my 1125R from several years ago and just put a set in my '05 Speed Triple.
