Was wondering if anyone can clear this up for me. In both the service and electrical manual it states if your tps sensor fails you must replace the whole throttle body. But I have seen several people including Lance selling just the tps sensor on Ebay. Has anyone had any experience with this? Is it ok to replace just the sensor? Or do I have to replace the throttle body as the manual states. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

The TPS is separately replaceable. EBR has elected to list this as a separate item. Like many parts, neither Rotax nor EBR made this part. It is a common part used on other cars. You can find the exact replacement with the three part numbers below.
BMW E36 & E39 PN= 13631726591 or PN= 13631721456
Hella PN= 6PX008476-111

That is good news! So how do you install the new TPS sensor? Is it it a plug and play or is there some sort of calibration that is required ( other than the TPS reset) The original TPS has some marking on it to show that it placement has not moved.
