Just finished putting the charging rotor mod and got the bike back together. I dropped the screen under the engine to drain the oil during this, I did not pull the drain plugs.
Everything is back together and I put three quarts in the engine and the oil level is at the very top of the dipstick. Touching the threads.
Haven't started it yet, as I am afraid of the oil level. Did I miss something? Will the oil level drop to normal after starting the engine and circulating the oil?
Thanks in advance for any inputs.

You have to drain the oil from both plugs and change your filter too. You are dangerously overfull I would guess.

Well that makes sense. I figured dropping the screen would drain out all the oil. Learned something new today.
Thanks
