I wasn't happy with my 2009 1125r's performance after riding my buddies with a flashed ECU. So I picked up buelltooth and used the map they have on their website for BUE2D and a Barkers exhaust. Works fantastic! Excellent throttle response! Rode it to work and back, got home with a nearly dead battery...

So, I was going to try and bypass the harley harness to see if that would help. but the wiring does not look the same as most of the pictures I have seen. Note the plug going to nothing. It has been like that ever since I picked up the bike.

I do beleive that the harness was installed from the factory, if that helps. Can I just unplug the connector on the far right, and connect it to the bare connector on the left?

What exhaust and tune did your 1125 have?

My '08 has a Barker and the EBR tune, and I've been happy with how it performs, but now I'm a little curious about the Buelltooth one.

The last owner of my bike picked it up stock and added a Barker exhaust because he liked the noise, so I would assume it had whatever stock tune the bike came with. I added a K&N filter and the 1" quiet core for the Barker.

My buddies CR has an Apex pipe, K&N filter, intake stacks from Twin Motorcycles and a custom tune from them. That bike is an absolute riot. I'll need to ride his back to back with mine again sometime.

It probably is the exact same one. I compared their Race Exhaust maps to the ones on my EBR ECM for the Race Exhaust, they are almost identical, with a few cells slightly tweaked in the mid range as theirs is likely a newer version than my early build ECM.

Their site has a bunch of different maps, most of them are likely EBR maps, then some stupid message on the bottom how it is ok to steal other peoples work because it is just numbers in boxes. I'll give you a hint, if you break down anything digital enough it is just a bunch of 1's and 0's. I guess pirating music is fine too because it is just a bunch of sounds.

I'll look at my wiring harness when I get home, I don't recall seeing that unplugged plug on my bikes.

Alright, I looked a little closer today and I think that someone replaced the stator and left the old plug and wires on there, so I guess I will just leave them. The stator cover looks like it has a newer paper gasket on it than anything else and the stator wire is routed pretty lazily.

I do wish I knew when the stator was installed and what, if any, changes were made to the rotor.

Is there no way to contact the PO?

Have you done any kind of charging system troubleshooting? Tested stator and VR voltages?

What is the resting voltage of the battery after being charged and sitting for a few hours?

The guy I bought it from got it cheap from someone getting deployed and I have not been able to contact that person.

Also, I have not done any charging system troubleshooting. I did not have any issues before I flashed it so I assumed that was the cause. I seem to remember reading somewhere that not all ECM flashes are set up to activate the harley harness.

Anyways, the harley harness is all out, as is the noid. While chasing wires I did find out that my bike doesn't have the IAC hose going to the airbox, so one of those is on order and I'll have to wait over a week before it gets here.

For resting voltage, there is quite a discrepancy between what the bike says and what a multimeter says. I charged the battery for a few days with a trickle charger and after sitting for a while it is about 12.3 volts. Thinking I could use a new battery.

Got everything put back together last night. Charges perfectly. So I'm assuming the issue was with the map from Buelltooth not working properly with the harley harness.
