whats going on buell family, tomorrow im going to be replacing the clutch on my 2009 1125r with the barnett kit, i have done the obriens slave cylinder last year to stop the weep. i have never done a clutch on this bike before, any tips? advice? or are there any specialty tool needed for the job? any info would be beneficial and appreciated! what would be really helpful are the torque settings of the springs on the clutch. but any info is helpful

Pretty simple job. Back off the spherical nut (17mm) and hold the center with an allen wrench (5 or 6mm). You can get away with leaving the slave in place and not disconnect the clutch line, just place it to the side after removing all the bolts around the cover. There's another nut inside (19mm I think) and hold the center again to break it loose. Pull that diaphragm off, the clutch pack is behind it. Run the bolts in until they bottom out, then torque to spec. 10 Nm.

Also, pre-soak the new clutch plates in clean oil. I'd stack the old ones as they come out so nothing gets mixed up when you install the new ones.

Thank you for the help, that 19mm nut on the inside would you happen to know the torque sething on that bolt as well?
