Hit 50,000 mikes on the odometer today. Just a fun thing to relate. There certainly have been problems. Stators mostly. Have almost 8,000 miles on current setup. Stock rotor and stator with an externally mounted Compufire series VR.

I'm glad you're racking up the miles! At 24k miles on my CR, on its second stator/rotor/sprag clutch that I just fixed, and it's having starting problem again. It's like WW III in my brain debating having a motorcycle that actually starts and functions or keeping this cool ass machine. For a one bike garage, it's a hard and reality-facing choice.

Thats pretty cool.
I just bought my first Buell 1125r last year with less than 1,600 miles. now has over 5,000. Regulator has been acting up already though.

Man, this post has me spooked. I replaced mine and did the EBR rotor less than 2,000 miles ago. I am planning on taking the bike from Denver to San Francisco in May.

Nervous.

With the EBR rotor it should be fine. I haven't had any other issues since doing mine. The clutch weep, now that's another story... Next time it weeps, I'm going to try the Oberon replacement as there's little other choice out there these days.

@Mustang0 I am running a CE 605 from Roadster cycle on my 1125cr have been real happy with it . I installed it when my stock crapped out on me.
Here some info on it and the compufire common solutions. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/704732.html

@Captjoe I installed Oberons on both of 1125 s , no leaks and has improved clutch performance. My understanding is they have making these for other rotax motors for years.

Thanks Zhen but I've already ordered a replacement from American Sport bike and it should be here today. I also ordered a rotor from ERB and received that two days ago.

38k on my 1125R on the original stator. Only issue so far has been a failed fuel pump, just recently.
