Many of you have discovered that diagnosing problems on these machines is quite difficult, simply because easy access to ECM inputs and outputs does not exist. I decided that having a break-out box would greatly simplify the task. In that light, I contacted IDS by email and received a very prompt reply from Tim. He stated that they don't sell these, but they have made them for their own use. I asked if he could sell me the parts to make one myself and he very graciously said that he would. Within the week, they were shipped. I have not yet received them, but they are on their way. The cost was less than $100 all in. I cannot praise them enough. Both Tim and Kris were wonderfully helpful.
