Got the 1125R back from Mark at Twiggers Moto Guzzi of Loughborough today and it was a joy to be back in the saddle again. Mark has fabed up a crank locking tool and is happy to work on these though he did mention threading the stator wires was a pain in the arse.
Spent £150 on uprated stator, £10 on gasket, £75 to get rotor drilled and Twiggers charged me £126 to carry out all the work.
Really happy as I thought it would be a really expensive fix when I looked at kit price from TM of €771 plus labour.
Instead of the £1000 I had expected, I ended up sorting it out for just £361.

I have been asked about rotor drilling ....
I had mine done by Paul at Demeanor Customs in the UK who used to do them amongst other things for Black Bear HD while they were supporting Buells.
He still has the jig set up and will do the EBR mod for £75 plus post.
