I have a 2008 1125R with a Barker exhaust and matching EBR race only ECM. The cooling fans stay on for about 60 seconds after I turn the key off even if the temp is only 172F. Irritating...

If I disable the fans with the key off via a relay, will I risk harming the engine or is the only risk puking some coolant on hot days?

Thanks.
