I noticed that the front end was not moving freely from left to right, so I decided to check the torque of the steering head nut...Also I know that there is an inherent "problem" with the design of the Showa forks for the 1125R, that makes "cling" noise...

I decided to check and tightened the steering head nut to 50Nm, according to the manual.... The feeling improved , but still the front end was "tight"..... So after experimenting I tightened it to 20Nm.... This time the front end is moving freely, but also the "cling" noise from the forks is louder, and happens every time I brake ....

Any thoughts ? ? ?

Hmm, I had some looseness and shake in the front, and just tightened mine to 40 ft-lbs, per the spec, and it's greatly improved.

I wonder if your rotor mounts are worn

You probably need new steering neck bearings. I'm doing 36k valve check and replacing my neck bearings. They recently started clicking pretty bad.
