been a long time since I've posted. I'm in a pickle. I need the instructions for race tech gold valves. Long story but I didn't get the instructions back from local shop that decided they were in over their heads.

I looked at that. Just that honestly I have the forks apart and can't see where the valves actually go. Which makes me feel kinda retarded because I'm actually very mechanical. Watched a few videos on YouTube even And am still at a loss.

I bought the S2040G and the FRGV-S02 so both compression and rebound kits. But upon disassembly I don't see the parts that the kit should replace.

Boogi...you have to take the cartridge apart (the "tube" where the "rod" goes in) ...there should be a small wire circlip on the top (or bottom) that allows you to take the "guts" out of the cartridge...use a machinist's pick/scribe or a piece of sharpened welding rod to pry it out...but watch out as it may go flying...flush the cartridge tube good with some hot soapy water (clean it out with a shot gun/bottle cleaning brush) ...dry it and try to keep everything clean when you go to re-assemble, use some clean fork oil when you go to re-install the parts...hope this helps

Yes it did. They're all back together now. Just need to add oil.
