By "K" bracket, if you mean the bracket that supports the fairing, they are weldable.

Steve, Its the engine/radiator mount to the frame. Appears to be some sort of cast aluminum. My radiator support arm is busted about an inch out from the frame mount point. I will probably spline and jb weld the two pieces together as that section only supports the radiator. That way I will not have to remove the bracket or worry about welding in such a sensitive area.
