I stopped by a local EBR dealer today. My 'primary' reason for stopping was helmet shopping, but I knew they have a few 1190's in stock, and I wanted to have a look at them.

Parts counter told me they can't even get an oil filter for the bike at the moment...

Is this the case all around?

They have always had difficulty finding oil filters for some reason, but most parts are available.

Not at that dealership, apparently.

Is the filter different from the 1125's?

They also told me that EBR had orphaned all the Buell models, but I'm pretty sure I've read here on the board that people have bought EBR supplied parts for Buell models. I could be wrong...it has happened once or twice. ; )

It is the same filter, there have been people on the EBR forums that went to a Buell dealer to get an 1125 oil filter for it.

EBR.com provided a handful of 1125 performance parts like Race ECMs and chain drive conversion kits, but you couldn't get OEM type parts like stock bodywork. Before someone else says it, there was a short time where EBR was selling used takeoff 1125 parts like tail lights back during their early days when they were building race only 1125s.

Oil filter, spark plugs, cam shims all same 1125/1190.
Air filters - very different.
Tires - front same, rear 180/1125, 190/1190.
Brake pads should be the same, not positive tho.

I wonder when Magpull will sell it's stock of take off 1125 parts

Some were sold on here a few years back, while the later one's have been sold on eBay through the imperialsportbikes2 eBay ID.

I keep hoping more parts will show up as I was late to the party on eBay as well...
