I haven't been to Halkidiki. I may be going to Thessaloniki this summer, not sure yet. I want to get a bike for Greece and it seems that a lot of the good deals are in Thessaloniki. I'll be going to Volos and Kardistsa for sure.I haven't decided on which islands yet.
It's nice to see Buell's are appreciated in Greece. There can't be many there.

Not many Buells in Greece for sure...

I love Volos...especially Pilio...for me the best place in the country .The sea and the mountains all at the same place.... Tsipouro is the best there as well....

Where you born in Canada ?

Yes I was born in Canada. Yes the Tsipouro is great I will be having some again. I will be in Greece from August 11. I'm not sure when in Volos. When I'm there I'll send you a message come and have a dinner and some Tsipouro on me.
Do you have any overheating problems with it being so hot there?

Thanks for the invitation Niko .... Yes that would be great ....

I do not ride the 1125R around town .But I feel that the fans swithing on really early do a decent job to keep the coolant at acceptable temperatures. Actually other sportbikes I had were having the coolant run at higher temperatures. The problem is the chassis geting hot and making the gas to "boil". So I do not want to "punish" the bike and I do not want to "punish" me and I use the 1125R for the open roads...the fans are switched on all the time but that is the way the 1125r operates , so it is fine by me....

My biggest "issue" are the ZTL brakes.. it is obvious to me that the setup needs some extra cooling, it is not getting any air flow . I want to cool the setup.... I contacted AF1 to make the order for the air ducts for the caliper from the 1190RX.....I also contacted www.flexi-glass.com since they make a front fender with an air deflector for cooling the caliper... Since they are Canadian , do you have any feedback for it ? Is it better than the 1190RX solution ?

Vageli, I don't know what would be a better solution for you. Your at the right place you should ask here and see who uses the Flex-glass front fender.

Niko , I am not sure this is the right place to ask the question about the best way to cool the ZTL....

Last time I tried, a few years ago, I was "flamed" from people refusing to accept that ZTL run hot and that it would benefit from a solution to cool the brakes..... A few years later and EBR introduces an air-scoop for the brakes....

So for me, I am going to buy it myself and try it... and maybe say my opinion about it , to those few interested in here......
