While looking at an 1190 yesterday, I let them appraise my 1125 for trade. Now my speedo doesn't work, mileage isn't ticking off, and my tach needle blinks at 4 grand. Oh...and my horn doesn't work.

Were they running through a mode that I'm not aware of and can't get my cluster back to normal? Any ideas?

Check grounds, one is on the steering neck of the frame.

Grounds look good. I dont think its a ground issue anyway. The speedo is still there it just says zero. Same with the odometer. Its tbere but not advancing. It worked fine until he checked it and I know be was in there looki g at the service counter

That's just bizarroh weird. Please post the remedy in this thread if you solve the issue. I dread this kind of stuff happening to my daily driven 2008R.

It's most likely the speed sensor.

Was a very common issue for that exact complaint. Likely a coincidence but possibly it got unplugged?

No its plugged up. Wouldnt it throw high or low voltage codes if the vss was bad?

What did the quote you as a trade-in value for your 1125? I'm guessing $2500-$3000.

For what its worth, i disconnected the IC and the ECM and let it set for half an hour. Buttoned everything back up and it works fine. Moral of the story? Who knows?
