Besides Mack, does anyone else have these fairings? I love them, and they're sturdy and thick, but I scrape the crap out of them on the track. Anyone have ideas on how to make them mounted closer so I can lean further? I feel like they're preventing me from leaning more... Or low siding. Haha. Maybe they're helping. I am running a 190 and I haven't adjusted the forks to the top of the triple tree. Would that raise it up some, giving me more lean?

Yes that will give a bit more height but the bike wont want to turn in as easy. May not matter to you though. Try it and see how you like it.

Wow, looks like your belly pan is a bit wide. How much space so you have around your clutch cover?

Don't understand that, I can drag my toe, and not have any of the body work touch???
I do have the Showa race shock which is longer, and I also run a 190 rear tire, lowered the front by 3mm too.

I will do some measurements when I have some free time.

Wow! That bodywork hits early. I have flexiglass and it never scrapes. It used to with previous owner, but I have since installed an R1 front end and the bike is taller.

Yeah, I don't know why it's so fat on the bottom. The sides are mounted at the width of the belly pan, and even sucked in a little by the mounts I made. I scrape like crazy tho.

I have the same issue with the speed of color fairings.

Well my philosophy is screw it. I'm going to lean whatever I need to lean, and if it burns thru then whatever. But I don't want it to upset the bike in the middle of a corner and me low side. Just looking for other opinions and setups.

Try your plastic on without your brackets. Your brackets may be your problem. I ran my plastics without any brackets.

My belly pan is connected to my sides.. If I dot mount it to the bike, then it wobbles back and forth. It'd rattle real bad all over. I don't think I wanna try that.

Kind of looks like the plastic is mounted in the wrong place. it looks way lower then the other pics.

It's all based off the mirror mounts, which are where they're supposed to be, and also where the sides of the front fairing mount. The sides mount there, at the top, and then the belly pan is connected to the sides.
