I'd be down for one! If it were a bit shorter in total length (1/2"-1"?) i wouldn't need to remove my exhaust which would be great!

PM me and let us know cost when you figure it out?

I still have my crank lock tool, I just wanted to bump this back up so it didn't get archived.

Anyone need it?

I know this is a rent/borrow thread for the tool but I thought you'd like to know that we have one from Twin Motorcycles in stock for sale in case you want to add another into the rent/borrow pool or if someone would rather own it than rent/borrow it. $95 shipped to your door in the States within a few days. PM me if interested.

50,
i'd rather see some one buy the proper tool from you then see some one have to split their engine cases to retrieve the tip that broke off in the crank from their home-made tool.

Stained,
PM sent

Contacted EBR a few days ago to check on the status of these tools (for sale). There is no current in-stock date, so thanks to the BWB'rs for stepping up.

I have one set of tools that I am using. It's Sprintst's. I should be done in a week or two, whenever the super special order shims come from HD. I will post up here when I send it back to him.

I've got mine I can send out if needed. Finally unpacked that box after the move.

Crank locking tool only, no cam lock

First one made. Next ones will be a little shorter on the handle side to accommodate installation with out exhaust removal. Well hopefully.

Just pulled my stator cover to see if I could get the rotor nut off prior to ordering the replacement from EBR. I was stressing because no lock tools were available. I ended up using a jack stand, open end wrench, crow's foot, and impact wrench. I didn't have to drain the oil, or remove a portion of the exhaust as I had read on other posts. Anyhow, this unconventional method worked well for me and maybe it will help someone else.
No crank tool required

My only concern would be the re-torquing to make sure it's tight. The last owner or shop previous to mine didn't and I had a cluster F*&k to clean up.

Understandable, you can still achieve proper torque using the torque wrench, extension, and crow's foot. As easily as mine came off, there's no way it was at 300ftlbs from the factory though.
