Read an old post about a few users that have installed quick shifters using existing connector for side stand switch. My question is which wires wires get connected to switch. Obviously (I think....) sensor wire and I belive the other will be ground. Can any one on here confirm this?

It's funny you link that. The last post is mine. Since its archived, it doesn't show up on the new feeds. He refers to a black wire to a relay which I don't understand.

Do you have the kit in front of you?

Nope. Building it from scratch.

I am assuming this is just a simple ignition interrupter to momentarily unload the gearbox for clutchless shifts.

Please note for those interested, that there are available aftermarket automatic up and down shifters operated by shift buttons on the handlebar that operate in a similar fashion to F1 paddle shifters. I am fitting one at the moment. However, they are not specifically designed for the 1125 and must be adapted. Once all the brackets, linkage and solenoid mounts are made, the installation should be straight forward.
