I bought my 2008 1125R about 4 years ago. Have a 2009 now.

The other day I was lamenting (again) the "fact" that our bikes don't have a helmet lock. I decided to look under the pillion to see if I could rig anything up.

I found a nice tab on the frame rail that looked perfect..... then it hit me, "doh, dummy, that is the helmet lock"

Now my question is - did the 2008 not have it? I don't remember seeing it, and I can't find mention of it in my 2008 owner's manual - and I don't have a 2009 manual.

So I'm happy but feeling a little dumb!

If you found a helmet lock that is news to me too.
Now I have to look at my bike to see what you are talking about.

I think it's 2009 up. The older bikes had a cable in the tool kit for the helmet.
