So I just got done with the valves and when putting it back together realized that the steering bearings are extremely notchy.

Any hints or tips for doing this? I already ordered bearings from americansportbike.

Front end is torn down to just the triple trees, as I'm sending the suspension out for a refresh anyways.

FSM is your friend.

Punch them out, press them in.

Can't be any harder than wheel bearings.

Oh "factory service manual" already read it. Was looking to see if any tips tricks as I've never done bearings before.

Anytime I do bearings I put them in the freezer overnight. They shrink a bit and slide in easier.
