Previous owner put a used 2009 cluster on my 2008.... The mileage reads 1800 when it should be 11,000.

Who can fix that, if anyone?

As far as I know you can't change it.

The cluster should receive mileage from the ecm within a few start sequences...I think. I believe its in the FSM somewhere...

Ratbuell, that is only with a brand new cluster.

From my understanding mileage is stored in the cluster as well as the ECM. When a brand new cluster is installed they will sync up.

If a used Cluster is installed they will not sync and the cluster will keep its mileage that was stored in it and count up from there.

i had the same, my original cluster read 7k odd miles but had an lcd bleed in the corner
i got one from a breaker which had 5k on it from an 09 model
i recorded the mileage in my service book but apart from that not much you can do about it as far as i know

New clusters are still available from your dealer. $328, part number Y0500.2AMA for 2008/2009 models.
