I have been trying to trouble shoot my running issue and have been trying to data log with TunerPro RT. It is et up per instruction for the Buell. When I record, it shows that it is recording. When I stop and save the file, it save like normal. When I play, there is no data. It plays for the duration that was recorded but no data. I tried numerous times and re-setup the program several times but still does the same thing. I am at a loss. Any ideas?

I haven't used TunerPro, but a few things come to mind: bad connection, bad cable, or wrong com port. Does the data file have non-zero file size? If you open the data file in notepad, is there anything resembling data in it? You might try logging with EcmSpy if you can't get TunerPro working right.

Where did you get your log definition file from? Seems to me I ran upon one that was wonky but I ended up just stealing some of the syntax out of it for what I needed. I don't have my flash drive with me at the moment but let me take a look when I get home and I'll send you mine. If I recall, both xopti and Gunther have the log def files on their sites somewhere so grab both in the mean time and see if they help.

I set up TunerPro in accordance with the directions provided on xoptiiside.com. I used his xdf and adx files as well. The program connecting to and is communicating with the ECM. The program references the ECM code that allowed me to download and utilize the appropriate xdf. I tried the various adx files that are there for the DDFI 3 systems.

What are you trying to log? Do you have wideband O2 sensors?

I was trying to diagnose an operational issue. My track bike is intermediately cutting out after it gets hot after a few track laps. I cannot reproduce the issue except on the track. I was hoping I could see tell-tale to help diagnose the problem.

Actually I was at the track this weekend. The first day on the short Autobahn course, it went almost the entire day without symptoms. I experimented by running the fuel level get low and the cutting out started earlier in the session and became worse as the session went on. I completely filled the tank after the bike cooled down for the next session. The cutting out only occurred a couple times.

I believe the fuel pump is malfunctioning when it gets hot. When the bike is cooler, it runs fine. I previously replaced injectors, both stick coils, Crank Position Sensor, EBR ECM, Check and verified all grounds. There are no IC lights.

Nobuell - It's not on my flash drive but I'm looking elsewhere... I replaced my desktop a week ago so I haven't gotten everything copied over just yet.
I'll try to check tonight for you.

Nobuell - I sent them this morning so wanted to do a full handshake to make sure you got them.
Only other thing I could think of is the logging plugin itself but my copy will be same that you got from xopti. We can try it though - just let me know.

S21125r - Indeed I did. I will give them a shot this weekend.

Thank you for your help.
