I have a Chicane tankbag that I had attached on an XB, with a strap securing the back end of the bag under the rider's seat and two holes drilled through the forward straps that let me hook them to the screws that held the airbox on.

Any thoughts on how I could attach this to my 1125?

use the same holes to secure at front of airbox?

If it's a standard clip, can you get an inverted "Y" and secure it to the bike under seat? Maybe some neoprene padding to protect paint, or a 3m film to protect from nylon rubbing paint?

That's what I was probably going to try under the seat, but the 1125CR I have has no obvious screws or fasteners in the airbox like the XB did.

at the corner front of the seat, (rear back corners of airbox cover) there are two screws. You could run a straight line webbing across and center up a leg to go to tank bag? Especially if you add in an inline clip to make it easy to remove?

The airboxes use the same covers; it's the same part from 1125 to XB. The screws are there, unless you have an aftermarket cover.

I gave up with straps on mine. I use the Nelson Rig suction cups and they work great! Doesn't scratch, stays in place,
