I did a similar ride last year and found some pretty tasty roads. Anyone have recommendations for rides in this area? Started near Chicago picked up Skyline Drive in Front Royal, did the BRP ending in Asheville, NC. Highlights included: 3 between Slanesville & Springfield 28 between Cabins & Judy Gap 33 between Judy Gap & Franklin 250/28/92 between Monterey & Green Bank 66 between Green Bank & Linwood (watch for gravel on the western side of Snowshoe) 39/55 to Richwood (fuel light was on though, so I was hypermiling and got over 30 miles on reserve!) 20 between Bolair & Buckhannon (excellent)   Poppinsexz Posted on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 - 08:42 am:        Excellent!!
