I have a full set of plastics, including the option side fairings, that all have some scraps from going down.

Yes, that's some talent to get all the pieces!! (except the pods) Hey, it was two different accidents

None are broken, so my plan is to sands the scraps, and get some vinyl to coat them

Might go carbon, might go some other look.

So, has anyone done full wraps and have some advise to offer?

I've never done full wraps on a bike before, but I've wrapped some hoods. There are some awesome videos on the YouTube that have great pointers. Other than that, its pretty simple. Check out videos on wrapping rims too. They'll help you with the complex bends.

Also you may want to consider plastidipping them. Much easier and cheaper. If you don't like it, peel it. Better color/texture selection as well.

+1 for plasti dipping. It's too convenient to not try.

I plan on doing my truck soon.

That said, I vinyl wrapped part of my XB a few years ago. Not the whole thing, just a few pieces, I don't have the skill to apply them correctly on large parts.

I did see an 1125R that was completely wrapped with fake carbon fiber, I can't recall the username at the moment, I'll dig it up.
