What have y'all used in the past to tack these things on? One got a little loose so I pulled it off before I lost it. The ones on the air box cover, not the 1125 stickers. | ||

You could try clear silicone. Spread it lightly, get it in place, and let it dry. If you don't like it, you can just peel it off. | ||

I was afraid the heat might melt silicone. I really wish I knew what they used from the factory. | ||

I'd give 3M trim adhesive a shot. Clean both surfaces. Spray generously on the back of the badge. Allow to get tacky. Put in place - the RIGHT place, because it's gonna stay there. | ||

I actually figured out something really cool for removing the old glue. Goo-gone (we all knew that) but while the goo-gone is still wet, apply polishing compound and buff out. Took one try and there is no residue or paint damage. I may try trim adhesive. You can still faintly make out the "Buell" outline. Shouldn't be hard to line up in the right light. |
