This is an odd request but I was seeing if anyone would be interested in trading their 1125cr plastics for my red ones? I would like any cooler basically other than red haha. I just got a great deal on the bike and the color wasn't that big of a deal then hah. This is just to see if anyone is interested? You can text me at 847-716-0004 for pictures. I'm located in northern Illinois basically on the Wisconsin border.

Yea I had a red 1125r, as you can see from the post above I did plasti Dip. Super easy to do and doesn't take much. A couple good coats and your done. And you can choose from a ton of colors, matte or clear coat, pretty much make it look like real paint if you want. I love it, if it peels you paint it over, two second fix.

What preparation needs to be done before? I was just curious to see if anyone wanted to trade before I started painting lol

you know.. i've seen many folks report positive outcomes using plastidip. cars, bikes, you name it.

a BWBer called Imblasted has used it and if you look at his profile pic - pretty impressive looking bike. there's tons of others i'm sure.

i used it once on my puk for the clutch cover. (dot4 had eroded the finish)
easy-peasy

oh, and if you mess things up? just peel it off and do it over
: )

check this thread on plastiDip

Its a great product. After a few days of it being sprayed it actually becomes pretty firm and doesn't peel unless you want to peel it. Its amazing stuff and you can paint anything to give your bike some accent colors. Its a quick, cheap way to change things up a bit without damaging the original color.

Hey J,
I'm not looking to trade, but I do have a couple of pieces in black that are in great shape that can get you started. If you're interested shoot me an email and I'll get you a couple of pictures.

Hey bob,
For now I am just looking to trade since I am a college student and don't have very many means of funds. Thank you though for the offer.
