So I bought a CR a couple weeks ago and on the way home hit the HD dealer and picked up a filter kit and both washers...$45 later. I was cruising the e-bay and see this Buell-Motorcycle-1125-R-CR-Oil-Filter-1-O-Ring-2-W ashers so I thought what the hell and ordered 2. In comparing the washers to the HD ones, the copper washer is identical to my eye, the aluminum one has the same ID, the OD is larger and it's about double the thickness...I plan to use one of the HiFlo's first to see if there are any issues but from the looks of things I doubt it...at 1/3 the price

Using those filters right now. No complaints.

I've been using the K&N at about $12-14 a pop for the last three years, and bought extra washers in bulk (25 for $5 or so). I have spare O-rings too, but somehow I've really only needed to replace it once. And I do at least 6-7 changes per season. Sorry, but they call them 'stealerships' for a reason.
