Mrred7,
I've only been sending out my Kent Moore locking tools because they have been otherwise unavailable until DeanAdamsDesigns recently started manufacturing them.
http://www.deanadamsdesigns.com/

as far as any other tools;

A torque wrench can be borrowed from your local auto parts store or avoided altogether if you can do math T=(F)L

This forum is a nice addition to the service manual which contains a wealth of information and specifications for this and other repairs. I have it on disc and I can include that in the box with the KM tools for your reference.

I can include a 32mm impact socket for the same $6.80 shipping costs if it'll fit in the flat rate box, along my bottle of 272 Loctite but i'll ask that you kick back a coin or 2 for the 272 (consumable and only available in $20-size bottles).

lastly, a lift table makes this job easier on your knees and back!

NOTE: Red Loctite 271 is commonly available, but its the wrong stuff for the rotor nut. Red Loctite 272 is rated for large diameter fastener applications up to 36mm, where the 271 is only rated up to 25mm. also take into consideration that motor oil penetrates metal and does a great job of lubricating metal to metal surfaces ... even threaded ones.

Now I haven't been able to find 272 in the tiny tubes, only the large-ish bottles. I guess they figure a professional would be using it if he/she to torque down pressure vessel head or ASME code pilot operated relief valves, not the homegamer.
I know this is old news to some, but it bears repeating. http://badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/1 00212.html?1109648598

Sirius815,
it sounds like you are ready to start turning wrenches. I'll PM you so that you can get to it.

hopefully you'll be done before Mrred7 is ready to start wrenching and you can send it to him, then he can send it back to me.

Ben and Jason,
I got PM's from both of you and replied. I'm not gonna try and complicate this and play middle man.

first one to send me the deposit gets the locking tool first. there are others on here with locking tools to lend.

Only if you're removing the timing chain or pull the cams for whatever reason and need to make sure it's locked in place.

Nillaice, would you be so kind as to lend me your crank locking tool? Is it currently available? Thanks, Paul.

I'm selling my crank locking tool. Bought from Twin Motorcycles and used once. $100 plus shipping takes it. It took nearly a month to get it from Twin since it apparently takes forever for something shaped like a giant armor piercing bullet to clear customs.

Hey guys. I am finished with my EBR crank locking tool (p/n: C2115.1B6), 32mm deep socket and 272 Threadlocker. If anyone needs to borrow mine, let me know. Just pay for shipping both ways... No need to pay to rent it out ($12 total). Just don't be a jerk and steal it! haha

Is this crank locking tool trading system still in effect? I have all my parts and ready to do the upgrade, just need the locking tools if anyone down to share.
