what type of tool do i need to install new valve seals cant find the hd b-49053 tool the book calls for

Little bit of oil on the lip of the seal and gently roll it on. They go on pretty easy, just like every other valve guide seal I've ever installed without a special tool. None have leaked or smoked after either.

thats ive done pans, shovel, and iron heads all were the same just not the rotax

well yeah there the same type but the buell i would have to tear apart again..... 4 times is enought for me for careless misstakes. hate working in the cold i miss the western weather already too cold in indiana

I use a heavy silicone assembly lube when I insert the valve in the guide.
The seal slides on pretty easy, especially 7mm valves. 5/16 you rock it past the groove.
I have a fancy tool for viton seals but use a vacuum cleaner attachment for H-D OEM seal/locators.

I haven't messed with Loretta's heads... yet.

thanks i use some Lucius oil and pressed then in with a socket
